Michael Kuroda: AFOL

I am a life-long LEGO builder based in the pacific northwest.

One of my earliest building memories is receiving the Black Seas Barracuda as a Christmas present. I spent most of the day building it and displayed for over a decade.

I did stop building when I went off to college, but that was short lived as I ended up taking a robotics course using Mindstorms.

Shortly after I graduated I discovered the AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO) community and have been a member of various clubs and attended multiple conventions over the years. I have had some of my creations blogged by The Brothers Brick and BrickNerd.

I also had the pleasure of joining some builders for a collaboration and have a few models included in Mouse Guard Art of Bricks.

Even though I have yet to see it, apparently I can even be seen in A LEGO Brickumentary.
